Politics Review Day (Sub)

Hellow everyone.  I'm out sick today, but I'm not dying - just not feeling well. I will be back tomorrow.  I have posted up all the test review materials that I presented during this unit.

Your test is tomorrow.  Today is a review day, use it to the best of your ability.

Here are your instructions for the day.  I also have a set for Brittany posted here, so make sure she sees them if she doesn't check the site.  If Brittany isn't here, just do the best you can preparing for the test.

Class Instructions

  • All your materials are linked on the left hand side, including both the Voting and Political Advertisements PowerPoint.
    • If you need a copy of the Ukraine PowerPoint, ask Brittany.
  • Your test has three parts:
    • Current Events since the last test based on our twitter feed (as always)
    • Politics Unit based on this review sheet
    • Ukraine based on Brittany's presentation.  See the board for details later this period.
  • Good luck, study, and be excellent to our sub!
Brittany Instructions
  • I could not upload your PowerPoint because I do not have a copy.  Please share the PowerPoint with anyone who needs it via flash drive.  (You can delegate... share with one, then they share, then they share, etc... to make this go faster).
  • Answer any questions about Ukraine that students have
  • At some point in the first half of class, list any key terms, people, ideas, etc you think are "test-worthy" on the white board.  I'd say this list should have about 8-15 items overall.  This gives students a guide, and I'll use your suggestions in building the test.
  • Leave a copy of the Ukraine PowerPoint on the flash drive I loaned you here (or any flash drive, if you can't find that one),  Put it in the front port of my computer so it doesn't get lost.  I need that to add questions to the test based on your presentation.  (I'm pretty sure the PPT is too large to email.)
  • Send me an email (michael.malafarin@fcps.org) by the end of the day to let me know if all that went smoothly, or if there were any issues.
